Intern Engineer – Cloud SRE

Our infrastructure teams are responsible for providing a private cloud to support the needs of the Monaco Telecom Group. These teams work closely together to cover the entire spectrum — from the core virtualization and storage infrastructure (IaaS), to containerization platforms such as Kubernetes and databases (PaaS), and finally to the application and service layers (SaaS). Several key applications essential to our telecom operations run on various components of this private cloud.

The “Cloud SRE” team is responsible for ensuring the consistency and proper functioning of the Group’s products and applications hosted on our private cloud. This includes, in particular:

  • Internship Activities and Responsibilities

As a “Cloud SRE” intern engineer, you will be directly involved in improving our CI/CD components and enhancing the observability of our applications and tools. The team acts as a bridge between developers, architects, and cloud infrastructure teams. Automation of operations is at the core of the Cloud SRE role, and the team relies on the same practices as developers for implementing and validating these operational tools.

  • Technical Stack

Gitlab, Gitlab CI, Go, Jfrog, K8S, Galera, Grafana, Prometheus…

  • Prerequisites:

Strong Linux skills and a good understanding of Kubernetes. An interest in development. Knowledge of databases and/or Go programming is a strong plus.
